Headway Fine Carpentry
Minnesota log home basement ceiling and wainscot. The challenge of a low ceiling was to provide a paneled ceiling while creating an illusion of depth thru color variation and wide moldings. Because of logistics, all moldings were created on site. Color pallet was taken from the log supporting posts. Brazillian Cherry was the dark accent wood. The golden colored panels were made from Curly Maple plywood, dyed to bring out the figuring in the wood.
