Architectural details in high end kitchen remodel, Cabinetry provide and installed by Dutch Made. Installed metal ceiling panels of which included laying out the lighting in appropriate areas and still in the circular patterns while missing ceiling joists. Designed and made large canopy with metal roof. Goal was to make a unit that would self supporting and last for 100 yrs. Designer provided sketch for range hood and tiles. I had to engineer a range hood that would withstand the weight of the tile, meet the size requirements of the tile and still fit the blower unit inside. Cabinet company asked me to install crown mould after it was determined that the cabinets were install to high. Crown had to be modified to work within the space requirements. Wood ceiling was milled and distressed onsite to owners specs. Whole project ended up being a demonstration of problem solving and adaptation.
